Another Children's Round Table on the subject of "Safe Journey to School" took place with participation of town authorities and specialised organisation's representatives in Dobris on April 28. The event was attended by approximately 60 children who discussed the traffic safety measures. Children split themselves into groups and equipped with map materials they evaluated traffic hazards of specific locations in the city and proposed measures for improving safety. At each table there was available a representative of expert public with whom the solution could be discussed. Consequently, children presented their solutions in public. In conclusion, the mayor informed the children as to how their solutions would be dealt with.
The event was also attended by 5 children's representatives of the Healthy City Litomerice. Workers from the environmental educational centre SEVER helped with preparation of the meeting in Dobris just as they help with similar events in other Healthy Cities. HCCZ pays this collaboration to the cities from the ROZMArIN Project, supported from MoE Revolving Fund.
