In the first half of 2019, the Association held twenty-two Healthy Cities Public Fora. After the holidays, new fora and big round tables are in the pipeline with twelve more events announced to take place by the end of the year.
Additionally, the members of Czech Healthy Cities can use at no cost the service of “emotional maps” which are created during these meeting, or they can verify the outcomes of the forum by a survey involving a wider range of respondents.
Other highly popular meetings are School and Youth Fora where pupils and students discuss the development of their municipalities. This year has already seen a record number of 33 of these events aimed at awakening interest of mainly children and students in public affairs and the situation of the place where they live.
At the same time, cities are starting to hold big round tables where a particular issue is examined from the broad context of sustainable development.
This event was supported from the funds of the European Social Fund provided from the Operational Employment Programme to implement the project.
