Collaboration of basic schools and kindergartens formed one of topics of HCCZ Summer School

HCCZ Summer School took place on June 15 - 17 2011 in the Healthy City of Kromeriz. While the Spring School was dedicated to the procedures within the practice of sub-regions, the introductory seminar of the Summer School was focused on regions and on the issue of "Schools as partners to municipalities". The event also introduced interesting school programmes and activities, the participants and presenters shared their experience and approved procedures. The school was open to all those interested in the topics dealt with and more than 70 participants not only from the Healthy Cities, Municipalities and Regions attended the event. The three-day programme offered rich variety of information. Presentations on the subject of schools and specialised programmes at schools, such as "Healthy", "Safe", "Community" school or "School for sustainable life" were introduced both by representatives of schools and cities as well as by those from specialised organisations, such as National Institute of Public Health, Partnerstvi o.p.s. and others.

The second day offered the traditional practical training in two parallel sessions. Not only "beginners" took part in a training of "Basics of Media Promotion and Work with Media" - training communication with journalists in front of camera and acquiring the skills required for continuous work at Healthy City PR. Those who completed this section before had an opportunity to consult their particular problems and procedures in the section "HCCZ Methodology - Progress to Quality". The topic primarily comprised of preparation of public meetings and round tables, preparation of campaigns, planning and evaluation of work at the office and many others.

The third day of Summer School was dedicated to training of computer skills, specifically to use of personal terminals in DataPlan HCCZ.

The event was a part of ROZMArIN Project, supported from MoE Revolving Fund.
